I live on 20 acres in northeast Wisconsin where my home, studio, and outbuildings recall a late 19th century farmstead. This is just one part of my surroundings that inspires me to make work representing the broad American rural and pastoral landscape.

My objective is to reacquaint the viewer’s connection to America’s rural heritage.
